Did you attend this year’s WWETT show in Indianapolis? If you were there, hopefully you tried your hand at ZOOM DRAIN’s Main Drain Event, an obstacle course challenge that replicated the obstacles drain cleaners face. Every day, drain cleaners and plumbers have to navigate the twists, turns and wyes of household and commercial drains. They become experts at finding clogs and removing root masses. At the 2018 WWETT show, Zoom Drain and Spartan Tool teamed up to construct the course that tested the tenacity of anyone willing to wrangle a cable.

“2018 is Spartan’s 75th anniversary so when ZOOM DRAIN approached us with the idea of doing an obstacle course at the WWETT show, we immediately knew we wanted to be part of the team” said Jennifer Shoemaker, Marketing Manager for Spartan Tool.

While many people tried their hand at this timed event, ultimately there could be only one winner. Those bragging rights went to Justin Swanton of Action Drain in Spokane, WA. Besides winning bragging rights, he also received a Spartan Model 81 drain cleaning machine. Kevin Walsh, President of Spartan Tool, was on hand to present Justin with his new machine.
